"Fear drives out reason. Fear suppresses the politics of discourse and opens the door to the politics ofdestruction. Justice Brandeis once wrote: "Men feared witches and burnt women."
The founders of our country faced dire threats. If they failed in their endeavors, they would have been hung as traitors. The very existence of our country was at risk.Yet, in the teeth of those dangers, they insisted on establishing the Bill of Rights.

Is our Congress today in more danger than were their predecessors when the British army was marching on the Capitol? Is the world more dangerous than when we faced an ideological enemy with tens of thousands of missiles poised to be launched against us and annihilate our country at a moment's notice? Is America in more danger now than when we faced worldwide fascism on the march-when our fathers fought and won two World Wars simultaneously? It is simply an insult to those who came before us and sacrificed so much on our behalf to imply that we have more to be fearful of than they. Yet they faithfully protected our freedoms and now it is up to us to do the same.

We have a duty as Americans to defend our citizens' right not only to life but also to liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is therefore vital in our current circumstances that immediate steps be taken to safeguard our Constitution against the present danger posed by the intrusive overreaching on the part of the Executive Branch and the President's apparent belief that he need not live under the rule of law."

On spying on innocent American citizens:
http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=06/01/03/1435201

President Bush says that if "If somebody from al-Qaeda is calling you, we'd like to know why." But the real question is that if our government knows the phone numbers of Al-Qaida members, why the hell aren't they arresting them overseas and prosecuting them for their
crimes? Is it because we are hopelessly bogged down in Iraq which has NOTHING TO DO WITH TERRORISM? Is it because all of our resources have been needlessly diverted to the unjust war and unjust Occupation in Iraq? Why does the government insist instead on scaring innocent, law-abiding Americans instead of doing its basic job to protect American citizens? And if the government eviscerates the very liberties that make us a free people in the interest of ruling by
fear, oppression of dissent at home and the use of needless violence, war and torture abroad then can it be said that the U.S. government represents the greatest terrorist threat both to its own people and the world at large? Is a government that breaks its own laws legitimate and deserving of continuity? Why aren't these hard questions being asked? Why does the mainstream media fail to ask such bold questions?

THE NSA for spying on innocent Americans like those engaged in their right to political protest and
dissent can take their policy of eavesdropping and shove it up their ass!!!
 http://rawstory.com/news/2005/National_Security_Agency_spied_on_Baltimore_0110.html

The best way to respond to Federal Eavesdropping is to demonstrate no fear, to protest without apology and stand up to those who intend rule by fear alone.
Understand, folks, that fear is all they have and once you decide against
fear, they have no power over you.

BE A CITIZEN WITH DIGNITY: PROTEST WITH COURAGE. NEVER COWER IN FEAR TO THOSE WHO HAVE NO POWER AGAINST THOSE WHO ARE UNAFRAID.

Want to monitor something, NSA, then monitor my giving you the finger every time I publish these pieces openly without apology or regret.

FREEDOM IS LIBERTY FROM FEAR. LIVE OPENLY. LIVE UNAPOLOGETICALLY. LIVE WITHOUT REGRET. LIVE LOUD. LIVE TO PURSUE PEACE AND JUSTICE.
JUST LIVE AND LET LIVE.

I could write until my head falls off, folks, and I could write a long piece for you today, but I'm taking a little break from writing because I need it and because the best thing I can do for you is to share with you the means to educate yourselves with the following websites listed below my signature.
Besides, the last four pieces I published, detailed below, encapsulate the central message I have been ceaselessly trying to communicate for the past 4 years. I hope you make time to read them fully and absorb their content. These four published segments taken together amount to the essence of the message I have been trying to communicate and that I most wish to communicate and are the basis of this writer's marathon.

Here they are:
